e © AP6.0 The late great Cem Karaca was a big iconic figure of Turkish rock, especially with his idiosyncratic and highly ecletic works in 1970s. He has been in the field since the mid60s beat era up till recently and especially from 1967 to early 80s, he has produced wonderful stuff, coloring them with his highly dramatic and strong vocal approach. This album from 1976 captures him at his best psychedelic progressive peak with his band called "Dervisan"... There are seven tracks in total, one clocking at 11 minutes.. there is wonderful use of keys, guitars and superb tight playing... much recommended for progressive listeners, but with splashes of psych influences.. imagine ELP jamming with Genesis around 1976 and using Turkish melodies, fronted with a superb vocalist. This is one of the pinnacles of 70s Turkish rock and an absolute masterpiece of worldwide psych. Definitely great and getting seriously rare!! Cover is EX, record is EX- (visually) but plays even better. Can't recommend it enough.
