On offer here is av very, very rare UK blues album by Champion Jack Dupree “From New Orleans To Chicago”. Produced by Michael Vernon. Featuring John Mayall (harmonica), Eric Clapton (guitar), Tony McPhee (guitar), Keef Hartley (drums), Malcolm Pool (bass) and Bill Shortt (washboard). This copy is a MONO 1st pressing on the 1st press “grooved” unboxed red Decca label and 1st press “Robert Stace” laminated sleeve! This LP is very, very hard to find … specially in this great condition … and is massively rare! This beautiful copy really deserve a serious collector. The cat. no. LK 4747 (matrix no. ARL-7061-1A/ARL-7062-1B). The “grooved” red Decca labels is in spotless perfect condition … maybe a very small/light spindle mark each side. The vinyl record looks perfect … some paperscuffs each side. The record must grade Excellent+! The laminated front sleeve is in nearly perfect condition …no spots/writings, no edgewear/seam split, sharp corners! The opening edge is straight with no feathering! There is some laminate lifting along spine (without split/holes …). The unlaminated back is in great condition … clean/no spots, no grubbiness, no yellowing! The sleeve must grade Excellent (+). This beautiful copy and highly collectable UK blues LP is a must for any 60s music collector.
