Description
Up for grabs here is a very nice copy of "Blues Masters Volume 10" featuring Champion Jack Dupree. Jack was a great rhythmic pianist with a fine blues voice and an AWESOME band backing him up on these 12 tracks, including "I Want To Be A Hippy", "Grandma (You're A Bit Too Slow)", "Puff Puff", the amazing "Blues Before Sunrise", "I'll Try", "Going Back To Louisiana", "Aint That A Shame", "Stumbling Block", "Old and Grey", "Who Threw The Whiskey In The Well", "Postman Blues", and "Lawdy, Lawdy". EXCELLENT album, with guitar playing by Mick Taylor in 1969, just before he joined THE ROLLING STONES for the Sticky Fingers album; and the horns and bass just kick butt, though I wish they had mixed Mick's guitar up a little more. The cover of this has a rough texture, very nice, a very legible spine, good corners with minor age related bumping / rounding, and the front top right corner has a pretty small corner cut. The vinyl is clean and shiny, with a couple of very light sleeve marks BUT the last track on Side Two has "skipping" marks like someone danced just a little too hard ("Lawdy, Lawdy", GREAT song), that does NOT cause popping or skipping. This is a STERLING MASTER as seen in the dead wax, so you know it was lovingly mastered for optimal sound. Get it while we've got it! Stop hoping for the best with your purchases, WE AIM TO EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATIONS! Shop with confidence! We are using best healthy practices in all aspects of our store amidst all this craziness now, and we use NEW mailers, NEW inserts, New record sleeves and NEW clear plastic covers. Our shipping is A+. Thanks for looking in our store. If you haven't shopped with us before, check out our feedback to see you can buy here with confidence. It is always important to READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION and VIEW ALL PHOTOS. We've been selling on eBay for awhile now, having stopped for a slew of surgeries and now retired from employment because of it. So, we're opening up a record store where it will be easier for me to stay active with my issues, and all proceeds from sales of our (mostly rare / scarce) vinyl goes towards making our store a reality (building records racks now, and our CD racks are full!). I post here as often as I can, please message if you're looking for something in particular. WE MAIL UNTO OTHERS AS WE WOULD HAVE THEM MAIL TO US! This will be by Media Mail, which is a bit slower but allows us to ship all US vinyl purchases FREE! We use official LP mailers with the record outside the cover, and in clean white sleeves separately from any photo inner sleeves. All vinyl is cleaned with an enzyme spray then finished with a SpinClean Machine. With sealed vinyl, please understand that we will only accept returns if the LP is still sealed, which is for our financial protection as well as yours. To all our regulars, its good to be back and we look forward to hearing from you. If you ever see wrong information in our listings, let us know, we love the trivia and always strive to be accurate. Thanks for looking, and good luck on your search for amazing music. Greg and Michelle Mitchell
