Rare and obscure UK oddity by a cult group from Iceland. Desirable, for the junkshop glam of "Wildcat" with its unusual lyrics and clever delivery. Simple, catchy rhythms with pub rock guitar motifs (surprisingly vivacious on the intro) and kitschy hissing vocal hook. Hard piano a la Elton John too. Comped on Blitzing The Ballroom with an overall mood clearly influenced by groups like Slade / The Sweet / Brother Susan et al. Others prefer "Hold On" with its souped-up bubblegum rock cum teen power pop vibe. Fun stuff with harmony backing, stomping beat and crunching glam guitars to both sides. Music written by Barry Rolfe - Magnús Thor Sigmundsson - Jóhann Helgason (the latter 2 were also the lead singers of the band). Great for DJs! Disc cut loud with big production sound. RECORD - shiny, strong VG++ (actually better) regardless of a section of faint hairlines or faint light scuffs from storage / a couple of old pressing blemishes / disc cut loud with big production sound / some natural light background noises / original 4-prong centre intact
SLEEVE - not graded - original EMI UK company sleeve has general wear / item from the archive of an important record label who had offices in Milan with old, removed archive sticker residue mark to 2 corners.
LABEL - promo factory sample sticker / faint archive number in pen to both sides of 4-prong centre / some wear marks or label bubbling to spindle area / a few faint old dirt marks from storage

Mp3 created via a Vestax portable with protective slipmat and basic Audacity software but records always sound much better on a proper hi-fi system ;)
