Description
The Charles H. Stern Agency Inc. Promotional-only sampler LP: "The In Sound For The 70's"
privately pressed for the advertising agency world,
and for potential customers and possible contracts R-2415
The front cover was designed by Bob Mitchell, the animator for The Beatles'
classic psychedelic movie "The Yellow Submarine"
On Side 1 is a short skit by Paul Frees,
the Hollywood character voice who also did radio commercials. This side continues with approximately 60 plus artists
introducing themselves in order to
ntice an advertiser to use their voices in ads. The artists include Greg Morris, Keenan Wynn, Mickey Rooney,
Telly Savalas, Caesar Romero, Ruth Bussey, Agnes Moorhead
and many others!
You can read the text with full list of voice actors on our close-up photos
of the back of the jacket.
Side 2 of the record has songs that the composers the agency represents
have written and are available for commercials. They include Mark Lindsay (Paul Revere & Raiders), Jimmy Webb,
Mel Henke, Jack Fascinato, Joanie Sommers, Gabrielle Meckler,
Tommy Roe, and others.
The Vinyl is VISUALLY Graded
and looks Near-Mint VG++ jacket looks very clean, not a cut-out, there's open / torn shrinkwrap which was "sliced" open by the previous owner, but the vinyl was not played as far as we can tell, and our description is based on having sold a copy a few years ago, and listened to THAT copy before it sold.
The jacket is in great shape, most of the surfaces were protected by shrink, and in our photos there's a thick poly record-sleeve OVER the wrap, so that what's left of it remains intact.
There are a few very minor, almost invisible faint surface "slice" marks that cannot be seen in our photos;
The spine and seams are intact!
