Description

Super Jazz classic from The Charles Lloyd Quartet on Atlantic Records.  Some background noise, one or two pops on side one in the quiet tracks, but in my opinion nothing to distract too much. Side two, which I think is the better side musically, very good. The stand out tracks are Sombrero Sam, a really nice bossanova track, and Dervish Dance on one. It's very nice for that late night listen, smokey club atmosphere. Overall I would say it's a quality recording, nice double bass, good drums, rich sounding on a good vinyl system. Lot's of space between the instruments.
Thick vinyl, sleeve good, including spine. The photo I took of the front cover got some surface light reflection but all fine.
