This French press is on the plain orange CBS label. It is complete with the original heavy vinyl and laminated flip back sleeve. Released in 1966, the album also features Dannie Richmond, John Handy and Benny Golson.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has the most sensational high gloss, with just a couple of light marks on Side 2 and a few wispy hairlines on both sides. The CBS label is exceptionally bright and completely clean. The text is is sharp and there is only the very slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is vibrant, warm and rich. There is excellent separation throughout and there is a little light background noise in the quiet moments but certainly no noise that spoils the enjoyment of this record at any point.
The laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The laminate has the most sensational mirrored shine. The colours are vivid, the text is solid and the image is superb. There is a little wear to the top corner. The flipbacks have a little wear but are complete and sealed and the unlaminated back has only the slightest discolouration. The whole of this sleeve is very solid and the spine is very firm clear text.
