Description
CHARLIE MINGUS "THE BLACK SAINT AND THE SINNER LADY" HMV CLP 1694 (UK 1963) MONO
Recorded January 1963.
Not its first owner (I got into Mingus much later) but I've looked after it carefully, in a smoke-free home. I've probably played it only a few times.
The disc is in overall better than very good condition: spindle marks and light surface scratches The laminated sleeve is very good with moderate age related shelf wear. The inner edges have some tape residue marks where a poly outer which was taped in has been carefully removed (a habit of mine, for most of my collection; the plus side is that the external condition of the sleeve has been better preserved, given its age).
I'll post in a sturdy mailer, with a Mobile Fidelity Original Master anti-static inner, as well as its original inner, and a new "Blake" outer poly sleeve with sealable flap.
Check out my listings for other collectable jazz LPs including many more by Charles Mingus (mostly MONO). Also many by GIL EVANS.
P&P is at cost (UK only). I'll combine for multiple purchases, in which case please request an Invoice before payment.
