THE CHARLES MINGUS JAZZ WORKSHOP "PITHECANTHROPUS ERECTUS" Vinyl LP Atlantic 1237 MONO (1961 Reissue) Made in USA
Not its first owner (I got into Mingus late) but I've looked after it carefully, in a smoke-free home. I've probably played it only a few times.
The disc is in overall very good condition but with some surface marks and possibly some audible clicks (from memory as I no longer have a turntable so unable to check it), The glossy sleeve is overall better than very good but has shelf wear: small split on top edge and small creases at corners. The inner edges have some tape residue where a poly outer which was taped in has been carefully removed (a habit of mine, for most of my collection; the plus side is that the external condition of the sleeve has been better preserved, given its age).
I'll post in a sturdy mailer, with a Mobile Fidelity Original Master anti-static inner, as well as the original Atlantic paper one (taped split) and a new "Blake" outer poly sleeve with sealable flap.
