Description

A famous record:  PAUL WHITEMAN AND HIS ORCHESTRA with the first electrical recording (1925) of the palpitating dance craze that defined the 1920s unto this day: "CHARLESTON." A very lively version of James P. Johnson's most popular tune, including a breathless "Hot Cha!" chorus.  On the flip is "HONEY, I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU."  


This original 1925 "Bat Wing" Electrical Victor (one of the first) 19671 is in clean E- condition.
