“Mystery Playhouse” Radio Show Transcription Disc
One Complete 30 Minute Program On These two 16 inch, one sided, Vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm Discs
This disc was issued to radio stations for broadcast only and Not Available To The General Public, Very Rare!
"Mystery Playhouse" radio program #29 hosted by "Sergeant X", who is actually Howard Duff. This episode features the "Charlie Chan" radio program titled "The Clock Strikes Suicide". The date of August 17, 1944 is marked in the vinyl at the edge of the label
The last 5 minutes of the program features a preview of next week's Mystery Playhouse show titled "The Death Rose"
There are a couple of scratches on side one that cause some pops but no skips, otherwise in EX- condition with EX- sound
Due to their size, 16 inch discs may not play on standard turntables. For $10 I can make a professional CD dub of the disc for the buyer
