Description
For auction is CHARLIE MINGUS' "Tonight At Noon" on Atlantic 1416, MONO, Promo Edition, 1964.
SOUND: NM-
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound was brilliant, clean, clear, crisp!
VINYL: VG+ (probably better)
Visually, the vinyl is outstanding. There are no scratches or damage. Under bright light you can make out tiny smudges. That is all. The record is on large, white "promo" labels.
COVER: VG+ or better
The cover is excellent. The edges are solid with very little wear. The corners are in good shape with a tiny bit of wear. The front has a radio catalogue sticker upper left. The front and back covers are excellent and very clean with very minor aging. The only marking is radio-station call letters in black marker on the back.
*The sale includes an interesting album liner that has an Atlantic Records catalogue listing on one side.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
