Up for grabs is a super rare copy of Charlie Munro's "Count Down-A Contemporary Ballet." Highly collectable and sought after Australian contemporary jazz from the late 60s....original stereo pressing on Columbia label (#SCXO 7911).
Side A/"Countdown" is a composed piece while Side B/"Whirlpool/The Scene" are both improvised pieces "that are the result of several years of continuous workshop experimentation during which time the players developed a unique understanding and anticipation of what eachother wanted to say." The mood and styles vary on this lp.....it's a real journey! An Australian 60s jazz masterpiece that rarely shows up for sale.
Front laminated Cover is (Ex-). Has slight ring impressions and hairline creases, but otherwise looks great! A really nice, presentable cover!
Vinyl is (VG). Glossy, but has light scuffs/marks and a few small surface scratches. Plays with slight background noise in places.....but overall still a nice listening copy!
Labels are (Ex-)...few light spindle marks but otherwise clean.
This is a very rare and sought after Australian jazz lp that rarely shows up for sale...grab it while you can!
