CHARLIE PARKER 10" Jazz lp Dial 201
This is the first commericial release of Charlie Parker under his own name.
Recorded in 1949
The songs are "A NIGHT IN TUNISIA" "YARDBIRD SUITE" "MOOSE THE MOOCHE" "ORNITHOLOGY"
"LOVER MAN" "THE GYPSY" "BEBOP" "MAX MAKING WAX"
Personal include, "MILES DAVIS trumpet" "LUCKY THOMPSON tenor" "DODO MARMAROSA piano"
"ARV GARRISON guitar" "VIC McMILLAN bass" "ROY PORTER drums"
The record is bright and shiny, no scratches, there are quite a few "manufacturing bumps in the vinyl on both sides, most of can not be heard. There is a constant SOFT HISS in the backgrown. I grade it very close to vg+
The problems that I have listed above are common to most Dial 10" Lps
The jacket is good, no seem splits, the upper left corner has been droped and has some damage, the lower left corner has a small ding. The other two are fine.
I will refund purchase price less shipping if buyer is unhappy for any reason.
