This one is mono and deep grooved pressing of Charlie Parker's Charlie Parker Quartet. Dial Records Jazz Series 10" LP. Dial 202. This is an original issue from Dial Records, not a reissue version of Classic Records or Analog Production. Yellow and orange labels with black lettering and white logo. Deep Groove on both labels. "EAR" on the dead wax of both sides.
and orange label with black lettering and white logo, also deep groove.
Artist Include: Charlie Parker (alto sax), Wardell Gray (tenor sax), Howard McGhee (trumpet), Dodo Marmarosa (piano), Erroll Garner (piano), Red Callender (bass), Barney Kessel (guitar), Don Lamond (drums), Harold West (drums), Earl Coleman (vocal).
The vinyl looks NM with shine and luster. Just small hairlines and little scuff. It plays VG+ on both sides with background noises, tics, and pops, but not overpowering the music.
The cover is also VG+. Beautiful but has a neat tape all along the upper rim. Little bump on corners.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.
My grade is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied. And I will accept a free return. Please bid with confidence.
