You are bidding on an EXTREMELY RARE! 1950 10"LP on Savoy Records MG 9000 W/DEEP GROOVE titled New Sounds In Modern Music Volume 1 featuring Be Bop by Charlie Parker on Alto Saxophone, with Miles Davis on Trumpet, Dizzy Gillespie on Piano and Trumpet, John Lewis, Bud Powell and Clyde Hart on Piano, Charlie Potter, Curley Russell, Nelson Boyd and Jimmie Butts on Bass and Max Roach and Harold Wert on Drums. The vinyl is NM! and the record cover is EX! with some wear and a split seam on the bottom 1 1/2" and a name in black ink on back cover not covering any graphics. Selections include Now's The Time, Donna Lee, Chasing The Bird, Red Cross, Ko-Ko, Warming Up A Riff, Half Nelson and Sipping At Bells.
