CHARLIE PARKER New Sounds In Modern Music Savoy 4-7" 45 RPM Record Box Set 1950 w Miles Davis
You're bidding on a Extremely Rare 7" 45 RPM Box Set by CHARLIE PARKER'S All Stars titled: New Sounds In
Modern Music As played by it's Creator Charlie Parker Vol.1 issued on Savoy Records in 1950. This set features
8 songs pressed on 4 45's. The track listing is slightly different from the 10" LP issued around the same time.
Songs included are: Now's The Time b/w Red Cross, Cheryl b/w Chasing The Bird, Buzzy b/w Warming Up A Riff,
and Half Nelson b/w Merry Go Round. The All Stars feature Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Max Roache
and several other Jazz Greats. The Records are in VG+ condition with very few scratches or surface marks.
They look great and play very well with minimal noise on most and No groove wear distortion. The Cardboard Box
is in VG- condition with a 4" piece of the right outside flap missing as seen in photos. Other than that, the box is in
fairly decent shape with the left spine (which holds the top and bottom together) still intact. I've searched around
and can't find another example of this 4 Record Set anywhere so if you're a Hardcore CHARLIE PARKER/MILES
DAVIS fan, you should grab this !
