Up for bid is an extremely rare 10" LP, "Charlie Parker." This is an original mono press, released by Dial (203). Track listing is as follows:
Side A: Don't Blame Me / Dexterity / Bird of Paradise / Bongo Bop
Side B: Embraceable You / Dewey Square / Quasimado / Scrapple from Apple
The interior label are orange and yellow, with a deep groove on either side. Etched matrix info reads DLP203A / DLP203B. LP is VG, with scuffs and scratches on either side. LP plays with noticeable surface noise (crackle, tics, and pops) - but no skips (I have enjoyed this LP from start to finish!). There is a small pressing defect near the beginning of each side - there is a bubble in the vinyl that causes about a dozen pops in a row, but does not cause skips. Jacket is VG, with a several seam splits. There is a split at the top and bottom corners of the spine. The bottom of the spine is split form the bottom corner upward about two inches, and from the bottom corner toward the lip about 1/2 inch. The top of the spine is split from the top corner downward about an inch, and from the corner toward the lip about 1/2 inch. There is a split in the front lower right corner. This starts at the lip and travels toward the spine about 1/2 inch.There is light ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is some discoloration on the front and back of the jacket (see pictures). There is corner wear on all corners. There is wear on all seams. An original mono press of this LP is difficult to find in any condition! Don't miss your chance to pick up this extremely rare gem!
