Description

Please read my description carefully before bidding.  I will ship the item worldwide and will accept a free return if it doesn't match the listing description.


This one is the first mono pressing of Bethlehem Records BS-6021 "THE CHASE IS ON" by CHARLIE ROUSE & PAUL QUINICHETTE.  One of the best saxophone duel from Bethlehem.  This one is an original issue from Bethlehem Records, not a reissue version by OJC or Classic Records.  High quality original pressing in 1958. With Deep Groove on both maroon labels.  Very rare in NM- condition (play graded).


Artists Include Charlie Rouse and Paul Quinichette (tenor saxophone), Hank Jones and Wynton Kelly (piano), Freddie Green (guitar), Wendell Marshall (bass), Ed Thigpen (drums).


The vinyl played NM- on both sides. Music is nice. 


The cover is VG due to more than half-way split on lower seam.  Other seams and spine are intact.


The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.


My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-.
