Chemical Brothers - Platinum Disc

 

This is a genuine 1999 Platinum Award from Virgin Records for 300,000 sales in the UK of the Chemical’s album, ‘Surrender’.  The award is in an aluminium frame measuring 16x16 inches (40x40cms) and is in very good condition.  The plaque mounted below the record reads:

This award was produced by Framous, the official BPI (British Phonographic Industry) award manufacturer.  These awards were only presented within the music industry, and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ discs that are sold direct to the public.
