CHET BAKER :: "In Europe: A Jazz Tour of the NATO Countries" You are bidding on a copy of Chet Baker's classic: "In Europe: A Jazz Tour of the NATO Countries". Released in 1956 on Pacific Jazz as catalogue number PJ-1218. A photograph of the album's label has been made available below.

This LP is in VG+ condition. Some minor surface noise but in tremendous condition for its age. I have uploaded about 45 seconds recorded (without filters) from middle of side B. I intentionally chose a portion with some quieter moments; this is the extent of the noise on the album, which at times is completely non-existent. Terrific luster to the album with no scratches. The onset of side A has a slight hiccup which produces a rhythmic thump... more percussive than a "pop", deeper, which lasts for a brief handful of revolutions before going away altogether. Did not cause my needle to jump, fluid listening.

The cover (photographed) is in very good condition. No writing or staining. Lower seam has split a little and I am storing the album in its inner sleeve outside the cover within an outer poly sleeve to prevent any further splitting. There is no text on the spine but it would be completely legible. A very solid copy with the original World Pacific inner sleeve.
