Chicago soul and funk group The Chi-Lites put out 15 albums between 1969 and 1990 so had a big influence on the soul scene of their era. They most famous tune will always be 'Have You Seen Her' but everything else they did was just as super sweet. This tasty 45 is co-released by their original label Brunswick and Japan's Octave. It opens with the charming falsettos of 'Go Away Dream,' which are paired with seductive horns and gently tinkles of the piano. 'One Man Band' is a classic 60s soul sound with orchestral manoeuvres, Motown tambourines and buttery vocals.
