Description
CHICAGO very rare Promo only 17 LP Box Set from 1977 (Columbia Records). Very nice looking collector’s item. Comes in a shiny silver box with unique chocolate and silver graphics. This one was issued in very small quantities to promote Chicago’s 10th anniversary and release of “Chicago Xâ€. It collects the first 10 albums, some of them double LPs and one “Live At Carnegie Hall†which is a four LP box set on it’s own! All the LP sleeves have a gold promo stamp on the back. All the albums come with the original posters, inserts, iron-on, etc. The box is actually quite itact, has some storage wear (some dulling of the silver foil at some spots, and a small tear/peel of silver foil on the bottom edge which was taped) but looks better than a few others I have seen thru the years and has no real damage. Records have never been played. Sleeves are EX to Near Mint with only slight rubbing on sleeve from sliding in an out of the box for some of them.
