Description
Up for auction is a super clean copy of the Chicken Shack album "Accept" released on Blue Horizon Records (BH 4809) in 1970. This is an authentic and original first U.S. pressing, not a reissue. White label promotional copy. Gatefold cover.
Cover is in fantastic condition with very few signs of wear. This cover was very prone to ring wear, but this one is clean and shows no signs of it. Looks close to it did the day it was taken out of the original shrink wrap. Corners are sharp, no dings. Seams are strong, no cracks, no splits. Only small signs of rubbing along some of the bottom edge. Spine is not creased from opening. Inside gatefold is clean, no writing, no ring wear. Small promo sticker in lower left corner. I'd grade the cover Near Mint (NM).
The vinyl is in pristine condition, no scratches, no scuffs, no extraneous marks to speak of. Retains its original high gloss shine. No marks around spindle holes, indicating little, if any, previous play or handling. Labels are clean and un-marked. Play tested, the record sounds clean and clear. I doubt it's been played more than once. I'd grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM).
