Condition : wallet cover, namely a gatefold sleeve but completely white inside, see photo # 4, shows some ring wear especially on the front, EX / vinyl has some cloudy stripes as well as some surface marks. Flaws, however, which do not affect the listening except for a few minor clicks in the first track of the second side, VG++

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Notes : music by Raúl Lavista, one of the most important Mexican composers of all time: among his film scores "The River and Death" and "The Exterminating Angel" by Luis Buñuel. The performance is by the excellent trumpeter Chilo Moran and his quartet. Possibly Rodolfo Sánchez, alto sax, Victor Ruiz Pazos, bass, Mario Patron, piano and Javier Zainos, drums. Four tracks of highest jazz quality with funk and soul influences and excellent solos by trumpet and sax. In "Tema de las Bestias", the most rhythmic and funky tune, we can listen to exciting drum solos as well as those of sax and trumpet while in "Blues Polo" a good bass riff introduces a magnificent sax solo with some distorted sonorities.

Un film drammatico di produzione interamente Messicana. Regia di José Fernández Unsáin, con Armando Acosta, Guillermo, Aguilar, José Alonso e Jacqueline Andere.
