Victor 43460-B (single-sided test pressing)

Very rare test pressing of a 1925 side in the Asian series. By 1925, this series was not just for Chinese opera (most of it was). Certain issue number blocks were for other musics, like Filipino, Korean, Vietnamese, Laotian, and Cambodian.
I examined the original history cards from this series, and this falls in the VIETNAMESE series, from 43440 to 43499 - despite the handwriting, which says Chinese.
That said, this certainly sounds like southern Chinese opera to me (percussion, great rusty vocals, strings, and clanging!) and - if it was recorded in Vietnam, it could have been local Chinese opera recorded there.
