OK, BACK TO SOME GOOD 45s OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES FOR A WEEK OR TWO - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1966 U.S. M5 Records 45 RPM record containing the tunes titled 'Let The Wind Blow'/'Marbletown' from garage rockers Chips & Co. It is M5 Records catalog number 192, and is a GUARANTEED 1966 ORIGINAL, NOT A 'REPRO' REPRODUCTION AND NOT A 1970s ERA 'COLLECTORS PRESSING'!! This 45 appears to be a RARE ITEM which has not been offered on eBay either at auction or at fixed price sale during the past month as far as I can tell. Both sides of this record are real nice crudely produced echoey guitar-based mid-60s garage - 'Let The Wind Blow' is hard-driving Yardbirds style, 'Marbletown' is mid-tempo and has more of a mystical garage-psych feel. Condition of record is conservatively VG with a fair amount of light surface marks which cannot be felt and which do not affect play, and a few light surface scratches and one fairly prominent looking surface scuff on the B-side which can be felt but do not seem to affect play very much - Record plays through nicely with a little surface noise. Labels have a fair amount of contact wear as can be seen in my accompanying image, no other real flaws worth mentioning. This 45 would be a choice rare addition to any 1960s garage record collection!
