Description
On offer here is a VERY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Chordettes called "Mr Sandman" and is an ORIGINAL 1954 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Gold Print' Columbia label!!!! The B side is called 'I Dont Wanna See You Cryin'. THIS SINGLE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST & HARDEST TO FIND DOO WOP 45s EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AS A 45 ON RELEASE BACK IN 1954 (MOST PEOPLE BOUGHT 78s INSTEAD!) - AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! NOT ON THAT BUT THIS 45 IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND PLAYS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANTLY!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1954 UK COLUMBIA 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'GOLD PRINT' COLUMBIA LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1N/1N MATRIXES, AND 1ST PRESS COLUMBIA COMPANY SLEEVE!!!! THIS SINGLE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Columbia UK 1st Pressing from 1954 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!! This is the ORIGINAL 1954 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Gold Print' Columbia label and the Cat No is SCM 5158.
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO wear, only some VERY minor fading to the Gold Print, NO sticker tears, and NO writing - though obviously this 45 has lost its centre at some point in the past. The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 50s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 NON sounding TINY hairline type mark, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY (if not BETTER!) as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! This single must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT 'trashed') if not better and plays BRILLIANTLY!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! This record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Columbia Company Sleeve!!!! THIS SINGLE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
