Description
SONGS OF PROTEST AND ANTI-PROTEST - CHRIS DUCEY, 1965. SURREY RECORDS. SS 1027. STEREO.
THIS IS A VERY COOL LP! CHRIS DUCEY aka BOBBY JAMESON, aka CHRIS LUCEY (see wikipedia listing for Bobby Jameson for the whole weird story) has a great voice, singing interesting songs with elements of THE BYRDS (electric 12-string guitar); MARTIN DENNY (vibraphones, vibes, marimba), the blues-y side of BOB DYLAN with a string bassist to boot. According to wikipedia that's none other than BRIAN JONES of THE ROLLING STONES shown blowing some blues harp (harmonica) on the front cover!
DISC is VG+. Light surface marks, not palpable to the touch, do no affect play. Light background noise. No distortion to music.
LABELS are CLEAN. Price sticker on SIDE B.
COVER is VG MINUS. Cover wear; ringwear; edgewear; spinewear; seam splits; clear tape on spine and lower edge; tears to back cover; price sticker on front cover.
Record will be packaged in new polyethylene sleeve with disc in paper sleeve outside of cover, and will be shipped in 13x13x2 Uline mailer (200 lb. test) with 13" x 13" filler pads to avoid edge/corner bumping.
