** PLEASE NOTE - MEGA RARE original 1966 UK COLUMBIA * MONO FIRST PRESSING * of this vinyl LP by CHRIS FARLOWE AND THE THUNDERBIRDS - featuring ALBERT LEE on guitar. VERY few copies of this LP were ever pressed in 1966, and it was almost impossible to find back then, let alone now, almost 50 years later! Great rare UK soul / R&B album **

An Excellent condition disc. A few very fine minor surface marks, but nothing deep or serious, and none which affect the sound in any way. KT tax code embossed at centre of Side Two label. Some spindle marks. Original MONO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, deep scratches or writing on labels. Excellent sound quality throughout, with some occasional minor surface noise. Very punchy clear sound from this MONO vinyl LP. Very listenable. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Sleeve "printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.", with laminated front and flipback design in Excellent condition. No seam splits anywhere. Laminated front cover still lustrous and shiny with no creases. Some minor wear to opening edge. Some minor age-related discolouration to rear. Spine free of wear/splits and text still fully legible.

Supplied in original "Emitex" inner sleeve with polythene inner bag, which is generally in very good condition, but shows some age-related discolouration in places. No seam splits anywhere.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
