Super rare and original LP from South Africa. Original 1950's cast recording with Chris McGregor’s Blue Notes and Dudu Pukwana. Chris McGregor and Stanley Glasser team up here to bring us this 1962 musical story. Recorded at Manley van Niekerk Studios, Cape Town.
‘Mr. Paljas’ is possibly the first long playing record to feature two members of the legendary group—The Blue Notes—Chris McGregor and Dudu Pukwana. Recorded in January of 1962 the album also features a number of other musicians before they emigrated due to the political situation.

Record in excellent condition. No crackles or pops. The thin sleeve has some wear, there’s two little rips on one edge & creases.
