CHRISTOPHER - CHRISTOPHER - PSYCH / ACID ROCK - NEW LP
Christopher were an acid-rock trio that included future Josefus drummer Doug Tull in their ranks. Arising from the psychedelic group from Houston United Gas, they used to frequent the same musical environments of legends like 13th Floor Elevators and Moving Sidewalks. After moving to Los Angeles, they changed their name to Christopher and performed at numerous clubs frequented by Hell Angels. It is there that they also recorded their only album for the Metromedia label, released in 1970.
A classic of pure West Coast sound, psychedelia / acid-rock with punchy fuzz-wah guitar, incredible songs and high musical level. Tremendous color cover with the group in one of the psychedelic apartments where scenes from the mythical movie "The Trip" were filmed.
One of the "holy grails" of American psychedelia and without a doubt the rarest album released by the collectible label Metromedia. Original art, remastered sound, insert with notes.
IMPORTANT: This is the only legally and authorized vinyl reissue currently available on the market, beware other pirated editions of inferior quality!
