Description

This is a fine copy from a 1989 numbered, limited edition U.S. reissue of the uber-rare sole LP by South Carolina group Christopher, originally released in a private micro pressing of 100 copies in 1969.  The group was from Columbia, the state capitol and home to the University of South Carolina.  Their LP features a mix of fuzz-toned rockers like "Holiday" and "Modern Day Oracles," spacey songs like "Fugue" and "The Great Clock," a blues number ("Day of Sunshine"), and the 12+ minute boogie title track.  This pressing was the first to reissue the LP in any format.  It's worth noting that this reissue changes the track order of the original.  The record comes housed in a plain white jacket with cover slicks pasted on the front and back covers.  It is close to M- with a little staining around the edges of the cover slicks and a little light ring wear (EX+).  (Though my photo makes the front cover slick look like it's black and white, it's actually black and beige.)  The disc is clean, and plays with some light surface noise from the source disc -- graded visually, M-.  This copy is #131/350.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
