Description
CHRISTY MOORE HEY RONNIE REAGAN/THE BALLAD OF BALLINAMORE. Very rare single on the WEA label no SAM 100 released in 1984 that was given away with very early copies of the classic Ride On album. Hey Ronnie Reagan is on the AA side with the flip on the A side. Both sung by Christy with guitar accompaniment and he has produced both. It states on both sides that this is a free single with the album "Ride On" -IR 0407 NOT FOR SALE. Only a handful of these were issued and they rarely come up for sale. It comes in a plain paper sleeve and the vinyl is shiny on both sides without any surface marks, stains or scratches. Both sides play extremely well. There is the odd crackle at the intro of each side and a short section of background crackle in the middle of each song, but nothing more. This noise may well be down to the pressing as a visual grading is definately EX. I am a big Christy Moore fan and am pleased to be able to offer this in such good condition. This is a rare and highly desireable Christy item and the only reason I'm selling it is because I already have a copy tucked in to my release of Ride On. Please note that I do have some photos, but because of computer complications, I will have to email these seperately. This will be very well packed with stiffeners and padding. Also, please refer to my feedback for accuracy of grading. Good luck!
