RARE IN THIS CONDITION

This is a really rare, hard to find late 50's treasure from one of R&R's founding fathers!  There are other early versions but this one is identified as the original issue by the absence of the box around the Chess ID on the front cover.  This was Chuck's first LP and rarely found in good condition.

As for the cover condition, it is strong, bright and shiny.  There are no stickers, no writing and no significant tearing or splits.  The corners and edges do show some storage and usage wear but that is minimal.  There is a bend on the front right bottom of the cover---it has caused the laminated covering to crease a bit.  The top right corner has a bend but it is very small.  The bottom edge near the opening corner has a small 1/4" split.  There is top and bottom edge wear that is close to being called tearing but not yet.  No big cover issues but they are noted here for the buyer to know.  Spine is excellent, intact and clean.  Overall, a great cover. 

Visually, the vinyl is shiny and clean with visible scuffing and some minor scratching as is the case with most records of this age.  The seller has listened to both sides and hears the usual background noise, light scratching.  A couple of scratches do produce pops.  Of particular note is one point on cut #1 where the record skips what sounds like one groove.  Upon closer examination, that is being caused by a minute dimple in the vinyl surface, not by a scratch.  This happened sometimes during the manufacturing process.  The result is the absence of one very short guitar riff.  While this isn't a major flaw, it is pointed out here for the buyer's information.  There were no other skips detected.  Overall, the vinyl looks clean and glossy with some visible spindle wear visible in the photos.

We always take multiple clear, close photos and invite questions about quality or version of an item in advance of bidding. 

Our refund policy is based on total buyer satisfaction so we only refund full payment upon return.  We do not offer post purchase partial refunds. 

INTERNATIONAL
To our many wonderful international buyers, a reminder we always comply with Ebay and Customs official policy and code the "value" slot of the Customs Form with the actual purchase price .   Also please note that the USPS 1st International shipping includes a Customs Tracking number.  Recently that number has not been posting on the website with records we have shipped overseas.  Upon contacting the local post office, they were able to confirm all of our shipments had been processed and mailed through their computers but the standard, and previously reliable Customs Tracking number (Usually an LC number) has been missing and inconsistent.  This is probably temporary but we did want our international customers to know that we will continue posting those numbers but do not be alarmed if they are not trackable.  In the rare instance of a missing record, USPS can provide status with a phone call placed to them.
