Description
This item was purchased as part of an estate collection of records from the late 1950’s to 1960’s.
It is on heavy wax, and is not a "180 Gram Virgin Vinyl" or other newer release. There is a bargain bin "bullet hole" on the cover, next to the price sticker.
Due to Chess Records (and many other companies) reusing covers for 2nd pressings, I do not know exact pressing information without opening the record to see the label & matrix numbers on the vinyl.
MAYBE the LP could POSSIBLY be a first pressing. IT IS NOT GUARANTEED TO BE A FIRST PRESS.
At worst, this is a copy from the early 1960’s. This record has certainly been sealed for over 50 years. The disc is presumably pristine inside. The cover is crisp with no bends, and the shrinkwrap covers the entire sleeve.
NOTE: There is a very small crease from the cover slick next to Chuck Berry's photo on front.
