POP-SIKE OBSCURITIES VOL.1 1966-70.
After Phil Smee compiled the legendary Rubble series of garage rock and freakbeat anthologies, he turned his attention to obscure British late-'60s psych-pop (or as he insists on calling it, "pop-sike") with the multi-volume Circus Days series in the early '90s. Unlike Rubble, most of these 27 songs did not make it past the test-pressing stage and are almost completely unknown (indeed, there's a "Mystery Track" about which nothing whatsoever is known), One of the highlight's here is female singer/songwriter (and Andrew Oldham protégée) Vashti Bunyan's ultra-rare unreleased acetate "I'd Like to Walk Around in Your Mind," one of this cult favorite's very best tracks.

I use top quality packaging materials - so all my items arrive with you, the buyer, in top notch condition.
Please note: all records are removed from their sealed packaging UNLESS REQUESTED OTHERWISE. Once removed from their packaging, they are kept in a 250g polysleeve which ensures protection. The record(s) and its sleeves are then placed between 2 stiffeners & sent in a strong card envelope. This ensures that everything arrives exactly as you’d want it to.
