Description

Two great raggy sides by Ciro's Club Coon Orchestra, a black American string band led by pianist Dan Kildare which played at the famous Ciro's Club in London during World War One until the club was closed in 1917. They play 'They Called It Dixieland' and 'Something Seems Tingle-Ingleing' both superb, swinging sides on 12" English Columbia 633. Not only are these sides of outstanding musical and historical interest, they are unbelievably difficult to find! Just 4 years later Kildare killed both his wife and her sister, and then shot himself in a crime of passionCONDITION: Good playing V+ copy that will clean up with a wash.
