Description

Up for auction is a beautiful copy of the Clark Terry album "Everything's Mellow" released on Prestige/Moodsville Records (MV 20) in 1961.  This is a guaranteed original mono, deep groove first pressing with RVG in the run-out deadwax.  One of Clark Terry's best recordings.

Cover is in superb condition with virtually no signs of wear or previous handling.  Front cover lamination is in beautiful condition, original high gloss, with no ring wear, chips or rubbing.  Corners are sharp and seams are perfect, no splits or cracking.  Back cover looks pristine, bright bone white, no ring wear or signs of age discoloration.  Overall, the cover looks almost "as new" just taken out of the factory shrink wrap fifty years ago.  I'd grade the cover an easy Near Mint (NM).

Vinyl is in beautiful condition, also with no signs of wear or previous handling.  Retains all of its original high gloss shine.  No scratches or scuffs.  Labels are bright and clean, no marks around the spindle holes.  I'd be surprised if this record has been played more than once or twice.  I've play tested it, and it sounds great, clean and clear, just a little mild, low-level background noise in lead-in groove that fades out.  No real signs of groove wear, beautiful sounding record.  I'd grade the vinyl as Near Mint (NM).  One of the nicest examples of this record you'll every come across.  Can't imagine upgrading this copy.
