Description

I have access to 100's of rock records and memorabilia. A lot of this stuff belonged to my brother from his press agency days and hasn't seen the light of day for 20 - 30 years - includes loads of signed records and other cool stuff. A lot of the records have never been played and some are still sealed in shrinkwrap. I'll be listing more every week so keep checking my others!

Very rare original UK issue 7" on the CBS label from 1977. A superb punk collectable. What you get here is the original 7" pre-release promo issue of the Clash' legendary White riot with release date 18th March 1977, the standard 7" release and the original picture sleeve fully signed by the Clash. I have 2 singles signed by the Clash, check out my others for the other one. They were signed at Newcastle City Hall in 1982 on the Combat Rock tour, the Clash played 2 consecutive nights there and I went to both. The 1st night was brilliant and the band were in good spirits talking to fans and signing autographs after the gig, the 2nd night was the worst Clash gig I had been to - nothing but sound problems from start to finish and Joe threatening to leave the stage because of all the gobbing. The sleeve is signed by Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and original drummer Terry Chimes who had replaced Topper a few weeks previous due to Topper's Heroin addiction. This was the last time I saw the Clash play, Terry left at the end of the tour due to all the in-band conflict and Mick was sacked soon after, the Clash were never the same from there on. This is a superb item and a must have for any punk collector!  Condition sleeve ex, demo disc ex, standard disc ex.
