Hello everyone,
I'm auctioning 16 boxed sets, in total 47 LPs. The composers and artists, hopefully, are clearly shown in the photos and so I am listing the condition of the boxes and discs as follows :-
There are 6 Karajan sets.
1 Beethoven. Box Exc. 8 Discs Exc ++ Original Sleeves Exc. ++
2 Verdi Box Exc. 2 Discs Exc + Original Sleeves Exc -
3 La Boheme Box VG + 2 split corners 2 Discs 5, non-sounding, short scratches on 1 side, otherwise Exc+ Original Sleeves Exc + German Pressing.
4 J Strauss Box VG+ 2 split corners 3 Discs Wide band groove. Exc, with just a couple of, non-sounding, very, small fine lines in total over the 3 discs. Original FFSS sleeves Exc.
5 Madame Butterfly. VG+ 1 broken corner 3 Discs Narrow band. A couple of tiny 2mm hair-line marks and 1 non-sounding line that goes across side 4, otherwise the overall condition is Exc ++ Original sleeves Exc.
6 Richard Strauss Box Exc. 3 Discs 4 sides mint 2 sides Exc+ Original sleeves Exc +
7 Solti Box Exc. @ Discs Narrow band Exc Original Sleeves Exc.
8 Schoenberg Box VG Narrow tear on front and label mark 2 Discs Large Tulip Nr Mint Original Sleeves Exc.
9 Tosca Box VG+ No broken corners but some scuffing. 2 Discs Angel Coloured stamp Exc - Original Sleeves Exc ++
10 Britten Box VG 2 Discs Wide band groove One 1" scuff and one 1" surface mark, both non-sounding, otherwise Exc + Original FFSS sleeves Exc -
11 Carmen Box VG 2 broken corners and wear. 3 Discs Red semi circle. Exc Original Sleeves Exc.
12 Flying Dutchman Box Good It's all there but every corner is split. 3 Discs White and Gold label. Lovely shiny condition , exc + excepting some noise on the 1st 2 mins on side 2 and a click once every revolution for 2 mins towards the end Original Sleeves VG+ Some foxing.
13 Haydn Box VG+ 2 Discs Large tulip Exc - Original Sleeves 1 Exc 1 VG
14 Die Zauberflote Box A little wear on front, otherwise Exc. 3 Discs Large tulip. Some non-sounding sleeve removal lines, otherwise Exc- Lovely clean and quiet. Original Sleeves Exc.
15 Die Walker Box 3 split corners, otherwise Exc. 5 Discs Living Stereo. Exc - Strangely disc 4 has orange and black label and not the red and silver one. It does have the same matrix no.,though. That one doesn't have the original sleeve like the others have, but all are Exc.
16 Messiah Box 2 split corners and wear hence VG only. 3 Discs Platinum and silver labels. a number of light,shadowy but evident marking on all discs. They look lovely and shiny and the replay is very quiet indeed. VG+ The original sleeves are VG.
All the labels on all the 47 discs are Exc+ - Mint.
All the booklets are Exc. - Mint excepting the Messiah which disc all there but has foxing and a little coming away on the spine.
I have played most discs. only 2 of the Beethoven and missed a couple of others out because the others in the box are so good I deemed it to be a similar sound. The overall sound was of a very quiet replay and I'm sure any buyer will not be disappointed.

Postage will be with Parcel Force 48 at a cost of £12 but the buyer may collect, free of postal costs, from my address.
