RARE 1966 Garage BEAT Collectible
CZERWONO CZARNI
("Red & Blacks")
\ Poland - MUZA - XL 0352
Rare, clean vintage sixties "Beat" collectible in TOP minty condition (rare for this too)
Their 1969 first album contained mainly r&b and beat material, influenced by anything from The Beatles, The Animals to The Kinks.
Also one of the first beat/garage groups to get a record label, the group name translates to "Red & Blacks" as it was called broke on the scene with this debut on Muza Records in 1966. It is full of pop-rock, garage-rock, rhythm & blues, and surf beat. This is a historic release as it pointed a new direction for musicians in the 'Iron Curtain' country of those times....Since this was made during the cold war, no one in Poland was allowed to make a record if it was not given clearance to be released by the government. Not only did they control that, the music could not contain any politically unacceptable statements but here the music itself was good enough to be released. So now we can sit back and enjoy some communistic approved sixties beatrock with unique flavors, organ/fuzz guitar poprock grooves!
In April 1967 the "Red And Blacks" supported The Rolling Stones concert in Warsaw Poland.
