Original 1968 first pressing of a great fuzzed-up garage/psych gem, legendary album and sought collectible item by the LITTLE BOY BLUES....
This Chicago group is best known for their tough, bluesy garage sides, putting them in league with fellow Chicagoans, The Shadows of Knight. Their three singles for the International Recording Company included a blistering cover of the garage staple "I Can Only Give You Everything," that was a standout of the Pebbles Vol. 2 anthology. In 1967 they moved to Ronko for a one-off that included the terrific original "The Great Train Robbery" backed with a menacing take of Donovan's "Season of the Witch." At this point in 1968 they began to put together In the Woodland of Weir, moving away from their straight-ahead garage blues towards a more acid-baked sound.
