We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. This copy includes a rare glossy promo photo...not a xerox or copy but a real uncirculated glossy Frank Zappa photograph circa 1970...

Also includes the original double sided Bizarre Records Frank Zappa photo inner sleeve

This 1970 release finds Zappa and band at the apex of their improvisational powers. CHUNGA'S REVENGE largely eschews both high concept and satire in order to focus on the considerable jamming expertise of Zappa and his cohorts. In its original LP form, the album was divided into two discrete halves. The first side consists of extended, largely hot jamming pieces where Zappa and his musicians stretch out and show off their improv chops over relatively simple, often blues-based structures. The keyboard-based interlude in "Twenty Small Cigars" provides an interesting semi-classical change of pace.

Side two contains shorter, vocal-oriented numbers, with harmonies that draw on the throwback influences of Zappa's youth (a recurrent element in his work). Slightly schizophrenic though it may be, CHUNGA'S REVENGE is something of a showcase for the members of Zappa's group, displaying their vocal and instrumental interaction to fine effect.

CONDITION: The cover: thick gatefold is "EX" (excellent) solid = bright colors, no split seams, no bends, no writing. Very collectible from 42 years ago... 

The vinyl: is all glossy on both sides, "EX" (excellent) having some visual inner sleeve paper rub that does not affect audio play, not even close...enjoyable throughout! with CLEAN Bizarre labels
