We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

SCARCE original UK 1972 first pressing in gatefold sleeve...the second great PINK FAIRIES album featuring an over-the-top driving powerhouse psychedelic sound....
The Pink Fairies second release, this album is far more representative of the Fairies' live act — raw and highly energised. A pure rock album, with a couple of passing nods to the psychedelia of the time and of the first album's magnificent Uncle Harry's Last Freak Out, What A Bunch Of Sweeties gives us no nonsesnse rock, killer hooks and the staggering guitar prowess of Paul Rudolph.
Their name sounds like it was created from out of some hallucinatory mind-trip and, on its release, What A Bunch Of Sweeties was considered by many to be the result of the band reawakening from a drug induced coma they'd slipped into during the sixties. The music itself is competent enough with prolonged guitar breaks and a not too shabby drum solo ("Marilyn") - although surely these are the preserve of the live performance not the studio? The sound is raw and forceful HARDrock and roll covered with a fashionable coating of garage grunge, hippie parody and stoned-out highs. Best tracks are up & down both sies, if have to pick, the driving throbber Walk Don't Run, crunchy blaster Right On Fight On, floating stoned I Went Up, I Went Down, kick ass X-Ray, and powerhouse I Saw Her Standing There ...
