 THESE 78 RPM RECORDS ARE VERY RARE, ESPECIALLY IN SUCH GOOD CONDITION. MOST LABELS CARRY THE WORDS 'MADE IN INDIA' OR SIMILAR, AND THE DATE OF ISSUE. AND LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE UK RELEASE

AND THEY'RE THE REAL GENUINE ORIGINAL - MADE OF THAT OLD SHELLAC, NOT VINYL !

PACKING:  I pack really well. I 'sandwich' the record/s between two thick pieces of cardboard, surround it with packing - scrunched up newspaper and/or bubble-wrap/polystyrene chips - and put it in a stout cardboard box.  I have been sending records all over the world to regular collectors and dealers. Over many years of posting, I have never had a breakage. 

POSTAGE:  I am happy to combine records to cut down the cost of postage. It is impossible to pack 78s securely for £4, as suggested by e-bay.  So please note that sending one 78 to the UK is £5.50, with two for £6.50 and 50p for each  extra. Continental Europe : First 78 £6.00, then £1 for each extra. Rest of world - please contact, but airmail is at least £12 for first, reducing per extra

CONDITION / GRADING :     M = Mint, New.    Ex = Excellent - played but few marks and they still sound great.   VG = Very good, played many times, with scuff/wear and a little surface noise, but not excessive.  + and - marks give clearer gradings.  Please note that I grade by sound. A 78 can look quite beat up but still play Ex- Labels are clean unless stated otherwise or as in photos.

Sir Cliff Richard, OBE, KT. (born Harry Roger Webb on 14 October 1940) is an English singer, actor and businessman.

With his backing band The Shadows, Cliff Richard dominated the British popular music scene in the late 1950s and early 1960s, before and during the The Beatles' first year in the charts. A conversion to Christianity and subsequent softening of his music led to his having more of a pop than rock image. He never achieved the same impact in the United States despite several chart singles there, but he has remained a popular music, film, and television personality in the UK and he retains a following in other countries.

During six decades, Cliff Richard has charted many singles, and holds the record (with Elvis Presley) as the only act to make the UK singles charts in all of its decades (1950s–2000s). According to his website, he has sold more than 250 million records. On the British charts, Cliff Richard has had more than 120 singles, albums and EPs make the top 20, more than any other artist.

The Shadows( formally The Drifters) are an English instrumental and vocal rock and roll group active from the 1950s to the 2000s.

 During the 1960s the group appeared with Cliff Richard in the films The Young Ones, Summer Holiday, Wonderful Life, Finders Keepers and as marionettes in the Gerry Anderson film Thunderbirds Are GO. They also appeared on stage in pantomime. Aladdin and his Wonderful Lamp. The film and stage roles were more than just performances; they allowed the group to develop their art as songwriters. They wrote only a few songs for the earliest movie, 1961's The Young Ones, but by the time they came to make Finders Keepers in 1966, almost the entire soundtrack was credited to the Marvin-Welch-Bennett-Rostill team.

The line-up split in December 1968, after recording the 10th anniversary album Established 1958 with Cliff Richard, featuring a mixture of tracks with Cliff Richard, and instrumental tracks featuring just The Shadows. All tracks were written by the group. By this time they seemed to have done everything and Bruce Welch decided to leave. This was almost the end of the band, although an album (Shades of Rock) and a tour of Japan followed without Bruce, and with Alan Hawkshaw on keyboards; in Hank's words, they did it 'for the Yen'. The tour was not considered artistically successful, and the resulting live LP is not held in high regard, even though it does feature an unusually long version of "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue" in which Hank plays both acoustic and electric guitar.

The group re-formed in 2004 for a 'farewell tour', and recorded a new track "Life Story" (written by Jerry Lordan) to accompany a new greatest hits package of the same name which featured 1980s re-recordings of all their 1960s and 1970s hits. This opportunity to see Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch and Brian Bennett, joined on keyboards by Cliff Hall and bass by Mark Griffiths, "one last time" was so successful (and enjoyed by all members) that they decided to embark on an extension to the tour in 2005, this time of Europe. The line-up was almost the same, but Warren Bennett, son of Brian, came in on keyboards instead of Hall. Notwithstanding that this was to be a tour of other countries, they played a final date back in the UK in Birmingham, however in late 2009 Cliff and The Shadows reformed yet again for a stunning world tour which still continues now in South Africa and Australia.

Cliff returns for a string of solo dates at the Royal Albert Hall in October 2010.
