Description

Here is a superb UK first pressing of Cliff Richard's debut album from way back in 1959.
This is a virtually flawless copy of Cliff by Cliff Richard and the Drifters on the highly sought after green Columbia label.
This true keeper copy has barely been played - the new owner will not be disappointed.
Both of these delightful green labels are in lovely unmarked EX condition with no writing or sticker damage and barely any indication of play; there is little sign of any spindle marks and certainly no wear around the spindle hole, denoting very little usage over the years.
Both sides of the first press vinyl are also in easy EX condition with only the lightest of surface marks visible when examined under strong halogen lighting.
This thick slab of vinyl plays through beautifully, all the way through, both sides, without skips or jumps, or indeed anything untoward- it sounds like Cliff is singing live directly to you.
The disc is housed in its original 'Use Emitex ...' inner sleeve.
The front-laminated flipback single cover is in lovely EX- condition with no unwanted writing, tears or sticker damage and just the slightest little corner wear.
Good luck if you are bidding - I carefully pack vinyl using professional packaging and post with the disc removed from the sleeve to prevent knifing during transit.
* I will ask the winner of this auction the following question: Which instrumental track from this album gave Cream inspiration for a song of their own?
