CLIFFORD BROWN – JAM SESSION – EMARCY MG 36002 – EX/EX – DG - BLUE LINER NOTES – MONO
Recorded on August 14, 1954, this session features Clifford Brown, Clark Terry and Maynard Ferguson on trumpets, Herb Geller on alto, Harold Land on tenor, Richie Powell and Junior Mance on piano, Keter Betts and George Morrow on bass, Max Roach on drums and Dinah Washington on vocals. SIDE A: WHAT IS THIS THING CALLED LOVE and DARN THAT DREAM. SIDE B: MOVE, MY FUNNY VALENTINE; DON’T WORRY ‘BOUT ME; BESS, YOU IS MY WOMAN NOW and IT MIGHT AS WELL BE SPRING. This is a MONO recording and is in the original record jacket as the liner notes are printed in blue. This a deep groove recording.
I’ve graded both the vinyl and the record jacket as Ex for the following reasons. The vinyl is relatively clean of any marks on either side, but has some very light surface marks, which do not interfere with play. The spindle hole has some marks around it but no real sign of wear. The record jacket is in excellent condition as the cover is very clean. There is some sign of wear on the liner notes, but it’s slight. The liner notes are printed in blue, so this is the first pressing. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
PAYMENT & SHIPPING
Satisfaction guaranteed on item. I regret that the USPS has raised their prices. The LP will be well packed. Fully packed in a crush proof box, it weighs 1.8 pounds. Due to increased cost, I have to charge an additional $1.00 for packing in the crush proof box. Believe me, it’s worth it! The method of payment is PayPal. As of October 20, 2008, eBay has decided to make PayPal the only method of payment for this item! This way, eBay has you coming and going! If you are a bidder who prefers to pay by other means, I suggest that you file a complaint! I regret the inconvenience. The LP will be shipped either by Media Rate @ $3.17 or by Priority Mail @ $5.80 and up depending where you reside. Overseas bidders should consider First Class Mail International. The cost to Europe and Asia begins at $20.45 in the crush proof box. It’s worth it! USPS has hammered overseas shipping!
