Description

Up for auction at NO reserve is Clifford Brown's Memorial Album LP on Blue Note, catalog # BLP-1526. This is the original deep groove flat edge MONO pressing on the 767 Lexington Ave NYC label with RVG and "ear" etched in trail off. The LP is NM-, a beautiful pressing. The cover is a solid VG+ with some light seam and edge wear, and light corner wear. Back cover has price written in upper right corner in pencil, and old sticker from store of original purchase, otherwise very clean and white.  Vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI.  Taken from two different dates, personnel includes:  Clifford Brown;  Gigi Gryce;  Charlie Rouse;  John Lewis;  Percy Heath;  and Art Blakey round out the first set recorded August 28, 1953.  Second date includes:  Clifford Brown;  Lou Donaldson;  Elmo Hope;  Percy Heath;  and Philly Joe Jones. All LPs are shipped outside of the album cover in a brand new sleeve and are packed in dedicated record mailers with sturdy cardboard inserts. Shipping is $7.00 via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in the US or Airmail to Canada. $12.00 Airmail to Europe and the UK, $14.00 to my friends and customers in the Pacific. Multiple item wins will be combined and winner will pay actual shipping costs. Buy a bunch and save.
