Should the product malfunction within a stipulated amount of time after the purchase, the manufacturer will typically provide you with a replacement, repair, or refund. Most warranties exclude parts that normally wear out, and supplies that must be periodically replaced as they are normally used up (ie. headphones, record needles/stylii and cross faders).
If your item malfunctions while under warranty, contact the manufacturer with your serial number, receipt, or invoice handy, and the customer service/support representatives will assist you in repairing or replacing your product.
